BIO:
Ask Joe Schroeder where he gets his material and he’ll simply reply, “I live my material.” As one of the fastest rising comics in the Midwest, his show is a candid discussion on such topics as sex, dating, relationships, and life in general. With a unique brand of intelligent humor that gives him a broad appeal, he has entertained audiences of a thousand or more.
After beginning his career at open mic nights, he moved back to his hometown of Warsaw, Indiana to continue his study of the “Science of Comedy.” He quickly became a favorite at clubs and colleges throughout the Midwest, honing his craft while sharing the stage with comedy veterans Kevin Pollack, Tom Simmons, Jim Florentine, Dave Landau, and Jon Reep. A regular at the Mishawaka Funnybone, Joe has also brought his high energy and quick wit to The Tennessee Theatre, The Wagon Wheel Theatre, The Detroit International Comedy Festival, and is currently a contributing writer to Playboy Magazine’s “Raw Data” page.
From the moment he first hits the stage until the final curtain call, audiences are enthralled with Joe’s lively and engaging relation of personal happenings, embarrassing situations, and everyday life gone terribly awry. Be sure not to miss this fast rising star when you find him at a venue near you. |
